MARCH is Epilepsy Awareness Month

By making March PURPLE you are helping to raise awareness of #epilepsy.

Did you know that approximately 1 in 10 Australians will suffer a seizure in their lifetime?

Do you know what to do if someone has a #seizure?

Are you aware of the many types of seizures?

Yes, there's a lot to learn, so we have added a chart from Epilepsy Australia to help you.

Is your child epileptic? If so why not ensure that staff are trained for their school to be tagged as an #EpilepsySmartSchool.

This is an initiative of Epilepsy Australia and full details are available on their website.

By spreading the awareness of Epilepsy we help sufferers to feel they are supported and not alone.

We also spread guidance on what to do in the case of an epileptic or other type of seizure.

Knowledge is most definitely power in this situation.

And remember that #ChiropracticCare helps to maintain healthy nerve function.

So setting up a regular regime of #Chiropractic maintenance will ensure your central nervous system is in the best form it can be.

As stated in

Heins G., Chiropractic Influence on Epileptic Conditions:

A Literature Review with advisor Dr. Juhan 1998

In order for the best care of the patient to be given, new ways of thinking involving alternative therapies, rather than just medication must be embraced.

Chiropractors are currently at the leading edge to provide this improved care to epileptic patients.

Positive results from spinal adjustment indicate an increase in the quality of life of sufferers. If diet is also deficient a regime of supplemental nutrients would also be of major benefit.
